"I noticed," Shin replied, deciding to take Toot's advise and rise above the obnoxious little rat's insults. After all, he had taken down entire patrols from enemy mob bosses on his own, a rodent with an ego and size problem was not his concern. Shin knew having a soft spot did not make one a 'pussy,' just that they had a heart. Maybe Ling-Ling's problem was genetic - maybe all battle monsters were obnoxious and arrogant.
"So," the femme noir smiled. "That was some gunfight back there. Been doing this long?" Due to cartoons being able to ignore several laws of physics, it did not confuse Shin that they were having a conversation whilst sitting at the bottom of a relatively deep pool.
"Yeah, used to run with the Essex mob," Shin replied.
"Used to?"
"My boss agreed to cut me some slack and sent me on a paid vacation to the States. Then I met you, got drafted into this and...here we are."
"So...what sort of time period are you from?"
"The 1930s."
"I'm from the 1920s. I'm a sex symbol, though people call me the bitch!" Toot gave him a sinister grin. Shin smirked, "Maybe I like women that are a bit bitchy."

OOC: Shin didn't make a racist remark, please look at my previous post more carefully. Oh yeah, not trying to start an argument, but unless Ling-Ling was just making a typical 'you have a penis,' remark, I think that one moment in the show was just circumstantial. If you got it off wikipedia, ignore it, those gits over-analyse everything so much it's sickening.
BIC: Shin didn't listen, not really caring what Ling-Ling had to say. Toot also blocked it out as she continued their conversation. Shin said something, which got a laugh out of Toot.
