A loud BOOM was heard as the frag exploded, and dust flew into the air. Mike put a finger to his lips to signal the others to be quiet as he quickly came out from behind the rock and holding his gun up, examined the place the monster had been. There appeared to be no sign of it, not even any remains. "It must've gotten away..." Mike said to himself quietly.

"Sounds good, except we didn't exactly kick his ass." Mike said pointing to some tracks and a blood trail leading into the bushes from where the creature had stood. "We better keep moving." Mike said.
