If you got any other questions, fire away, I like to lecture...

Yeah I agree!
I have a friend who is *convinced* the aliens were here for bit before WAY before man...but didn't last long, however he thinks it would explain the funky symbols on various artifacts that a lot people claim to be from the Aztecs.
Ever see Independence Day?

Yeah I agree! I have a friend who is *convinced* the aliens were here for bit before WAY before man...but didn't last long, however he thinks it would explain the funky symbols on various artifacts that a lot people claim to be from the Aztecs. Ever see Independence Day? Yup. I've seen just about every alien assosciated movie. Independence Day is cool, but so unrealistic (as with every alien movie ever made [with the sole exception of "Sphere", now there is a must see]) And sorry, but if your friend thinks that aliens were on earth, then I must say, HA! Sorry, but that is next to nil impossible, not that I can explain those symbols, but I can tell ya, they havent been here. Unless you include the wackedout (but logical) theory that humans were actually created by another race similar to us, and simply put here. We were an experiment that they just dumped, the whole planet was created by them, and then they just kind a dropped us off, according to that theory. I think that is a buncha bull myself. I think that it is possible, even if aliens found there way here in ancient times (or even nowadays) that they might not be able to detect us, and we wouldnt be able to detect them. After all, they arent necessarily made of matter, they dont neccesarily live in this dimension, they may even physiologically break the laws of physics. The notion of them being here is pretty ridiculus IMO. No offense though lorelei. Just my opinion.

Gah, can't seem to get my PC to shut down so I came back for a second...
Oh, no offense taken!! I'm not up on this stuff, I find it interesting, but I don't believe they were ever here. My friend does...and, get this, he wanted ME to ghost-write his ideas. LOL.

Lol. Thats good. Some people can get offended when you put down their theories. Its really quite interesting when you get into it. Its something I wouldve never seen myself being interested in when I was a kid.
BTW, Have you ever seen or read Sphere.

True. Our minds just aren't designed to be able to wrap themselves around every problem. It's funny, one of my favourite quotes is "We live in a world incredibly reliant on science and technology, where hardly anything is known about science and technology."

I can't believe they only found nine planets and that's it.

What do you mean?!? They've discovered heaps of planets! There are only nine that we know very much about, but thats actually quite a bit. We think having gone to the moon is nothing. Some People think that we should've already landed on Mars. We expect so much. People can sit in their couch in their perfectly safe home, watching SciFi, and watch people explore distant galaxies. After watching this, people look at the moon landing, and say "No big deal". Consider the facts. Have you ever thought of how unbelievably far we are from the moon? Let alone Mars? It is a huge accomplishment to have been to the moon. We demand more and more, without looking at what we have, and appreciating it.

Yeah that's what I meant I can't believe there's only nine planets near earth and the only on we can really breath on is our home planet.

Yep. Earth truly is a one of a kind planet. Although hopefully in the future we develop some sort of advanced Terraforming technique. Cuz eventually, Earth is gonna get pretty crowded.

True or False
I heard a UFO crashed near Area 51 is that true or false.

99.99999999% sure that it is false. As I said, the chances of aliens having come here is as close to impossible as you can get. Personally, I think Area 51 is a place where the U.S. Government works on a number of classified projects. Developing new super weapons, new spacecraft for nasa, possibly orbiting weapon satellites even? But not aliens. That I'm certain of.
