Thank you!!!!  Taking the day off today. I went out last night with some friends for dinner and drinks. In a little while I am leaving for the spa. Treating myself to a massage, a facial, ect. Then I'm going to come home, order sushi, and just chill out, most likely nap or watch a movie. Basically do nothing. I must say this though - I could share that cake with HALF my family. Yep, my family has been that sharply divided since the election, and I just wanted to dig a bear pit for them! LOL |

You guys are the best I had a great day. Usually I'm up so damn early that sleeping till 8 or 9am is "sleeping in" for me. So I slept in, lounged around, and then went to the Fountain Spa for some pampering. It's pricey but what the hell. I had a two hour massage, then a facial. I felt almost drunk by the time I left! Then I went for my first TB test. They give you a shot, then check your arm in a few days for a reaction to see if you have TB. Then they do it again in a couple of weeks. It's a pain, but I need to do this before I start my harp therapy internship. Anyway after that I picked up some sushi, some white wine and went home. Watched a very very sad movie. What the hell was I thinking? I don't cry easily, but this movie was pretty powerful. So after I had a good cry, a friend called me and asked me why I was upset, and I told her. She busted my chops, then invited me over to her place for dinner. She too is a big DT fan, and missed the last few episodes, so we had a little DT marathon after dinner. I just never get tired watching the Afterschool Special, and part of the fun is seeing other people's reactions to these episodes! I thought she was gonna piss herself! LOL. Let's see, my family (who either live in Florida or Rhode Island or Canada) sent me some money and itunes gift certificates. I spent most of this morning calling them to thank them. I also got my bank pre-approval letter for a mortgage, that was like another birthday present!! I'm going clubbing in NYC Friday night, then out to dinner Saturday night, Sunday night and Tuesday night. Various friends are taking me out. My kind of presents; music, money, food, drinks, and some good friends. Next Friday I'm off to Italy for a week. *insert Cartman voice* KICK ASS!! |

Italy? Hoah! Nice. Glad you had a good time. Sounds like you have a good couple of weeks coming up. Have fun hitting the clubs, and have a great time in Italy.
