Mortal Kombat's Scorpion trades special moves with Xandir. Ling-Ling gets an arranged battle-mate. Captain Hero challenges Super Nanny, and also spies on the girls in the shower with his x-ray vision. Foxxy wants to get the old band back together. Toot uses a video game cheat book to control Xandir. Clara wants to give her octopussoir an extreme make-over. And the whole gang gets upset when Entertainment Weekly gives their reality show an "F". It *must* be Drawn Together - Season 2: Uncensored! on DVD!

Comedy Central and CBS/Paramount have announced that Drawn Together - Season 2: Uncensored! will be released on July 10th. Details and box art are not available yet, but the 3-hour package is expected to include the following episodes (the end-of-season "clip show" may also be included as well):

Today is Friday the 13th, so it must be "bad news day". Yep, we've saved up lots of bad news for you, so Gord and I decided that we may as well get it out of the way on this unluckiest of days! See, we told you not to walk under that ladder... A week and a half ago we reported that Comedy Central and CBS/Paramount had announced that Drawn Together - Season 2: Uncensored! would be released on July 10th. Since that time, the title has disappeared off of the schedule that's posted at the studio's password-protected press site. We've dug around and tried to find out what the story is behind this, but no one we were able to reach has any info about that change.

One industry friend of ours feels that the studio may simply be moving dates around to spread things out and keep from releasing too many products at the same time, especially on the same date. This sort of thing happens on a regular basis, and as well all know a date change isn't unusual in the DVD world. The title probably isn't canceled, per se; it's likely just delayed and ought to return to the schedule soon. If it does, when it does, we'll certainly let you know. Stay tuned!

This past Friday (the 13th!) we sadly let you know that Drawn Together - Season 2: Uncensored! had disappeared off the schedule from Comedy Central's DVD distributor, Paramount Home Entertainment. It was less than two weeks after the initial announcement of that set's July 10th street date.

Since then our own Gord Lacey has done quite a bit of digging, and he's managed to come up with what might be the new release date for this set. From what he's hearing, the new plan is for a September 25th ship date. That's not officially announced, mind you, and is still subject to change. But any way you look at it, this is still on the radar, and should be in our hands at some point. Stay tuned for any further developments.
