That may be true, but if your gonna be a pre-made character, you should at least have the profile sorta accurate. You can do whatever you want with him in the actual RPG though.
If you dont want to do that, then feel free to make your own character up, he just can't be a member of SG-1. He could be in SG-2, or be an alien or whatever.
