Wow...long time no post! Hope everyone is alive and kicking and doing well. Between work, my internship and life, I've been busting my ass.

WOW. I've been buuuuuusy.

Sorry it's been so long everyone. Things were really hectic around here for a while. Things are finally settling back into normality. I even had enough time off to jam with my pals last night. And Danielle came. I'm trying to convince her to take vocal lessons and be our singer. (Doubt that'll happen)

Anyway, good to be back. Hope everyone is doing well. And especially you kiddies who have to go back to SCHOOL.

Hey there, PCO! You’ve got that right...I love this time of year, the days get cooler, there’s that crisp bite to the air, that tells us that it’s leather and sweater weather, aaaah yeeeeah, oh and the sight and smell of the leaves changing, the scent of a harvest brush-fires to go with that crisp bite in the air…and the scent of freshly sharpened pencils. Man, I love taking a sick day, and as I lie in bed with the windows open, smell the leaves and rain, and the sound of the school-buses departing from the lot one block over…and knowing I’m not in one of them, don’t miss that, really....and I’m sure you kids are hating me LOTS right now…but try to stick it out, get yourself into a good college, you will thank yourself one day...trust me.

In the mean time, cheer up, Drawn Together starts October 5th! I am especially psyched cause it’s the same night as Smallville – but not the same time. GREAT night to slack and order in from Cheesecake Factory ;D

That said, I'm off to New Orleans/Biloxi in Oct, just booked tickets - got a friend there who has FINALLY moved into a new house, and we're going to spend some time in the French Quarter. I haven't been there since 2004, it's gonna be weird...closure ya know. For years I helped run a conference there...and I know too many people who were horribly affected 1 year ago, and i still can't track half of them down. it's fucked up.

Anywho, things are good on this end. I'm in a good mood today cause Danielle just bought me a new Amp, which is awesome. Other then that, its pretty much life as usual. But I gotta get Danielle something back, since she got me an amp... Any ideas would be good from you guys.

LOL, and here I was blasting the whole marriage thing in my blog!! Well...you will know when the time is right for that. If it happens, and it might, you never know! You're smart enough to know what you're doing. Anyway, it doesn't have to have a diamond in it, yet, if its a ring you have in mind. But if she likes diamonds...well, what does she like? Is there a special piece of jewelry she's been eyeballing? Or is there something she really needs? BTW, did she end up geting that car you were talking about?

And ya, I know an Amp. A nice one to. Dunno if you know your amps, so I wont bore you to much with details, but she just spontaneously suprised me with it.

Anyway, a ring (Not an engagement ring, at least not yet ) could be a good idea. Come to think of it, I'm pretty sure she was looking at necklaces in a store not to long ago.... That could be an idea... It'd have to be a nice one though.... I'll look into that. And the ring.

And no, she never got a new car, as much as I wanted her to ;D .

Well, I know amps aren't cheap! I have a little AER Compact 60, made in Germany, weighs 15 pounds and, for it's size, it KICKS ASS. Best part, with the 4 contact microphone hook up on the harp sound box, I can have the amp 2 feet away - no feedback.

Necklace and the ring? Nice. Was she actually trying on the necklaces?? Maybe you guys could take another shopping trip snap up the necklace she really wants but won't buy (when she's not looking of course) and then surprise her with it later.

Nice. I needed a new amp. The one I had before was an old, mediocre Vox.

But anyway, ya I'll do some recon and see what she has her eyes on next time we're out. I've also talked to a couple of her friends to see if they could help me out with picking out something, but I have yet to hear back.
