Kart - The article is weird? Ya I suppose.
Lorelei - Yup, that's the one I saw. It's pretty interesting. Especially the "4 Year Phenomenon".
Anyway, ya, marriage is something to think about. You can't rule it out, but it shouldn't be a given either.

*snort*
I swear, here’s what I saw written on the back of the seat in front of me on the train the other day.
“Will someone....anyone...PLEASE SHOOT Paris Hilton?”
“I’d love to!”
“Then *I* will be the stupidest spoiled whore ever!”
HUH?? That last line made me think of the evil queen in Snow White….
“Then *I* will be the fairest stupidest spoiled whore in the land!”
HAHAHA!!

LMAO!
Thats awesome...
She is a whore, I must agree. Ive been forced into watching her show a couple times, and I think she just pretends to be retarded. I mean, noone is ACTUALLY that stupid.
Those types of celebrities piss me off.
Meh...

Yep, she's playing it up for fun.
I saw part of a movie the other night in which the main character, who plays herself, really, makes Paris Hilton look like the Dhali Lama and contender for the Pulitzer Prize.
Ciao Manhattan. It's about Edie Sedgewick. Footage from the Andy Warhol Factory days. My college roommate WORSHIPED this freak, and told me about this film and I saw it on Netflix and out of curiousity I rented it, just to see how "cool" this dumb chick was. One word: Trainwreck! She did so many heavy drugs her brain turned into swiss cheese. Anyway it was so depressing and distrubing I would have found the The Wall to be comforting!!
Bah, I popped in some Family Guy, and of course DT. Muuuuuuuuuuch better.

Lol. Looks like you found a cure for depression. On the topic of movies, everyone seen Ocean's Twelve? If not, go see it. Very clever movie. Funny to. I cracked up when Julia Roberts pretended to be herself. And when the Greasemonkey hides in the bag. Among other places. Good film.

*tap tap*
is this thing on?
Wow. this board has been quiet. Or maybe, and hopefully, some of you have been reading the cool fan fiction here, and just haven't said anything. Don't be shy. Ray-Ray likes feedback. Lord knows he's see plenty from me, the more people who comment, the better. I suggested he post his work here, just in case you guys re surfaced.
I miss you guys. It just hit me that it was about a year ago I was gripping here about the red tape for the TB testing, and here it is, I'm due for the annual test. Has it really been a year? Yes. I'm getting tested tomorrow. Thank heaven I only have to have the shot only once, not twice like last year. sheesh. guess they figured I don't hang with the NYC homeless types, right? They're the ones who spread that crap. Oh and the fiasco that was my Easter Sunday? I haven't set foot in Palazzo ever since.
Anyways, short update. I'm almost done with my first level certification for harp therapy. 120 hands on playing - done. I just have some books left to read, reports to write, and a paper on my project: ooooh how many people can I get to close their eyes?? Seriously I wrote up a proposal for this project of eye closings, and it was accepted. So on a funny note...for 10-15 straight hours, not one patient shut their eyes for me! Goddammit! What was I doing wrong? Feh, nothing, these things just happen.
Anyway that's all boring stuff. On more important matters I got to meet Dave Jeser and Abby McBride at the NYC art exhibit. That was cool. They were really nice. I even managed to get them on the phone with a friend of mine. And Abby did her Ling-Ling voice, man, that was AWESOME! Now I understand why they kept saying she looks like Ling-Ling. When she does that voice, she IS Ling-Ling.
Well, anymoo, I don't know if you guys are in the loop at all, but Matt & Dave have left comedy central to start new projects at Fox. But, DT isn't officially canceled, they just haven't renewed *their* contract. They might keep running the show. Maybe. In the meantime, we have Ray-Ray's fan fiction to read! Good stuff.
Hope all is well. Miss you.

Thanks for plugging my stuff again! Since we don't know yet whether DT will continue or not (and if it does, it'll be a long time until then), I'm trying to fill in the void in the meantime. Anyway, I've just finished the most recent fic. It's called "The Naked Truth". I haven't posted it here yet, but I will in a few days. In the meantime, you can read it on the other board.

Oh, and lorelei, thats pretty damn awesome about you meeting Dave and abby! Lucky you!
And as for the subject of the shows cancellation... Its sort of had me bummed out for a while, but im still keeping my fingers crossed that it wont die permanently.... Like, for example, Stargate SG1 (my "Other" favourite show ;P) got cancelled (after 10 freakin seasons) but the fans were so strong in their support that the show now has a spinoff called Stargate Atlantis, that is gonna continue on (i imagine for many more seasons)
Anyways, looking forward to hearing from you guys! Ill do my best to drop in a lot more often ;P

Hey there! Good thing I checked both forums today, great to hear from you! How's life, how's Danielle, how's the flying, how's the band, ect, ect. I love to hear stories Life here is good, very very busy though. Been buried in books for my certifcations, writing papers and building repertoire. Teaching myself a lot new songs and a lot of oldies and musicals (upon request of elderly patients) . The first time I ever heard a version of "In The Mood" was sung by a bunch of cackling chickens on a radio show. So that's stuck in my head, and that's how I'm learning it. Yes, I'm WEIRD. Whatever works, right? My Grandma, (as you might recall lives in Edmonton), is doing much much better. She will be 90 in June, her mind is back to it's sharpness, she's been kicking everyone's ass in Scrabble, bridge, ect. We're planning a family trip for her birthday, and then some of the folks are heading up to Jasper. Ever been there? Anyways, talk to you later. Oh, check your PM inbox

True, CC doesn't seem to want to keep it around, but if they see there's enough fan support for it, they'll have to. Which is why we need to make sure that the DVD, whenever it comes out, sells through the roof! Let's not give up, things aren't over yet!

Lorelei - Haha, sounds like youve been busy . Thats good though, oldies are generally good n' fun to play. Especially the reeeeal oldies. If you have any interest in Concertos and that sort of thing, check out Shostakovitch . A friend of mine is really into 20th century concertos and that sort of thing, and to be honest, i think he may be rubbing off on me a little ;P Thats good about your grandmother! Sounds like shes recovered a lot! And yes, ive heard of Jasper.. Never been there myself, but i know it. Anyways, life is good here! Danielle is doing great, and we're still doing well . Flying has been good, but i havent been getting up very much over the winter months. Hopefully now that the spring weather is finally here, ill get caught up The band is great too! We've now been dubbed "The Suave Equation". Actually, we just played last Saturday at a dinner party thinger. Ray Ray - Haha, no i realize its not actually cancelled yet... i guess i worded that badly ;p. But im setill keeping my fingers crossed that it doesnt go any further down that road.

Shostakovitch? Whoa. I don't think I can pull that off on the harp, unless it's an electric harp, and I have another pair of hands, LOL. Might as well attempt Freebird. I'm kidding. Good stuff though, I checked out some albums on itunes. A few weeks ago a staff member from the hospital requested Stairway To Heaven, and then on the same day, two more people asked for it. Word has gotten around that I can play it. I had reservations about playing it, especially in ICU, but hey, if they *want* it, I'll play it. Anyway, I'm on the home stretch. Trying to complete everything by July 4th. 40 more hours and 8 books to read. Fortunately that flight to Edmonton is 7 hours from here, so that takes care of a few books right there Check out Crumpets of Doom when you get a chance. I sorta helped with the tea party idea, a little

Wow...VERY quiet here, but it looks like people have been reading Ray-Ray's fics. I wrote one too! It's a little mini fic, but hey, it's something. I'll have a longer one posted sometime soon (if I have more slow days at work) Oh, I completed my harp therapy certifications and graduated! Yay! I can now get paid for my rounds, and will hopefully make this career change sometime within the next year or so. Been playing weddings again, feels weird to be doing these gigs, it's been so long.
Hope all is well with everyone!

I took some time off work and went on 2 trips! One i went to fredericton by myself, (Out in new brunswick on the east coast) and caught up with some really close friends out in the maritime area. And then in August, me and Danielle flew down to San Fransisco for a week, which was pretty awesome! One of my favourite big cities for sure. Loooots to do . Lorelei - Thats great, congrats! Best of luck for a smooth change! and good job with the mini fanfic! Lol, Kenny G . And the part with Jesus made me laugh pretty loudly Anyway hope everone is doin okay!
